Locked brand templates

Templates with editable fields and locked everything else. A location personalizes what is theirs to personalize, and the brand assets stay exactly where the brand team put them.

This is the feature that keeps a network on brand without head office reviewing every proof. A template exposes only the fields a location is entitled to change: store address, phone, hours, a local offer, a manager's name. Everything structural is locked. The logo cannot be swapped for an old one, the colours cannot drift, the legal and bilingual requirements cannot be quietly deleted to make room for more copy.

The practical effect is that approval stops being a bottleneck. When the only variables are the ones you decided were safe, a location can order at eleven at night without anyone at head office signing off, and the piece that arrives is still the piece the brand team designed. For anything genuinely variable at scale, such as a mailing where every record differs, the same template mechanism drives the personalization from your data file rather than from a person typing.

Frequently asked questions

Who decides which fields are editable?
You do, during the store build. We set the template up to match, and it can be changed later as the network learns what it actually needs.
Does someone still proof every order?
That is the point of locking the template: routine reorders do not need a proof cycle. Anything genuinely new still goes through proofing before it prints.
Can we enforce French on Quebec pieces?
Yes. Language requirements can be built into the template itself rather than left to the person ordering, which is the only way it holds across a large network.
