Order history and spend visibility

Print spend is famously hard to see in a distributed organization, for a simple reason: it happens in dozens of small decisions at the edge, on local invoices, under whatever category the bookkeeper picked. Once ordering runs through one store, the record assembles itself. You can see what each location ordered, how often, and what it cost, without commissioning an exercise to find out.

That visibility tends to pay for the program on its own. It surfaces the location ordering business cards one box at a time when a larger run would cost less per unit, the piece that nobody has ordered in two years and can be retired, and the seasonal pattern worth producing ahead of instead of rushing. Reorder history also removes the most common source of error in repeat print, which is somebody guessing at what was ordered last time.
